About Dollhouse
Dollhouse follows Echo, an Active whose personality is wiped and reprogrammed per engagement, slowly retaining memories across missions. The two season run aired 2009 to 2010, building from client stories to the Rossum conspiracy and the unaired finale's dystopian flash forward.
Watch season one, then season two, then the unaired Epitaph One, which was filmed for the DVD and slots between the seasons. Epitaph One flashes a decade ahead, so it spoils the endgame by design and plays best once the Rossum arc is underway. The unaired pilot Echo is a curiosity for afterward, not a starting point.
Good to know
Fox aired the show out of its preferred rhythm and skipped Epitaph One entirely, which is the one ordering trap: disc and streaming orders restore it as a bridge between seasons. Epitaph Two closes the series in the future glimpsed by part one. No revival is in development, so the 26 episodes plus Epitaph One are the full set.
