About Dune Prophecy
Dune Prophecy tells a Sisterhood origin 10,000 years before Paul Atreides on HBO. Season 1 from November 2024 runs six episodes with Valya Harkonnen shaping the order after the Butlerian war. The season ends with the Anirul link and Desmond Hart threat open.
Season 2 is renewed to continue the Sisterhood schism with no air date as of this check. Watch season 1 first, then season 2 when it lands. This guide covers only the HBO series, not the Villeneuve films, since the show uses its own prequel continuity far earlier in time.
Good to know
Keep this series apart from the Dune films list, which treats Prophecy as its own branch. Season 1 runs six episodes and sets Wallach IX rules plus Harkonnen past. Season 2 has renewal but no date and will extend the list once dated. Start with season 1 because Sisterhood terms only make sense after their introductions there. No film must be watched first. New viewers can start with the first entry for the cleanest introduction.
