About Facts of Life
The Facts of Life spun Mrs. Garrett off Diff'rent Strokes to Langley School from August 1979 to May 1988 for nine seasons and 201 episodes. Season one ran the full dorm before narrowing to Blair, Jo, Natalie and Tootie around the cafeteria and later Edna's Edibles. The finale follows the girls into adult jobs with Mrs. Garrett married and moved on.
NBC closed it in 1988 after the school years ran their course, with three reunion movies following in 1982, 1987 and 2001. No revival series has been ordered, leaving the finale's grown-up sendoff as the close.

Watch one through nine in broadcast order, since the graduations and the shop plots assume sequence across all nine years. Season one plays with seven girls before the core four lock, so push into season two where the formula sets. The reunion movies work after the series as check-ins rather than required chapters.
