About Father Brown
Father Brown follows a Catholic priest solving murders in 1950s Kembleford. Series 1 from 2013 sets Brown against Inspector Valentine, then Sullivan takes over as the regular foe turned ally. Bunty, Mrs McCarthy and Mallory rotate through the parish team.
Later series keep the cozy case format while updating the cast, with series 10 to 12 running into 2024 to 2026. Sister Boniface from 2022 spins off as a separate cozy branch. The show stays open with new series ordered, so broadcast order keeps each arrival and exit clear without a finale to aim for.
