About Full House
Full House aired on ABC from September 1987 to May 1995 for eight seasons and 192 episodes. It follows widowed Danny Tanner raising DJ, Stephanie and Michelle with Joey and Jesse in San Francisco. The finale sends the girls toward college and marriage with the house intact.
Fuller House streamed on Netflix from 2016 to 2020 for five seasons with DJ widowed in the same house raising three boys beside Stephanie and Kimmy. The spinoff closed with the triple wedding in 2020, and no further sequel has been announced.
Good to know
Watch all eight seasons of Full House first, then the five of Fuller House, since the spinoff assumes every marriage and catchphrase. The Olsen twins splitting Michelle means the youngest sister reads slightly different across seasons, which smooths out in sequence. Fuller House leans on nostalgia best enjoyed with the original finales fresh.
