About General Hospital
General Hospital tracks Port Charles hospital and mob families from 1963 on ABC. The 1960s to 1970s set Hardy, Baldwin and hospital base with Steve and Audrey. The 1980s to 1990s add Luke, Laura, Sonny and Cassadine peaks with Ice Princess and weddings.
The 2000s bring mob wars and returns, while the 2010s to 2020s continue with new generations and the same hospital. Watch decades in order because wedding returns assume old exits. The soap is ongoing with no end dated. New viewers can start with any decade but should go forward.
Good to know
Decade order avoids listing 15000 plus episodes one by one. Early decades set hospital and waterfront base. Middle decades add adventure and mob stunts. Later years assume prior weddings of who left and returned. Start with any decade, but go forward to catch why Luke and Sonny returns land after long gaps.
