About Happy Days
Happy Days aired on ABC from January 1974 to September 1984 for eleven seasons and 255 episodes. It follows Richie Cunningham growing up in 1950s Milwaukee beside Potsie, Ralph and Arthur Fonzarelli, with Howard and Marion holding the house. The show launched Mork & Mindy, Laverne & Shirley and Joanie Loves Chachi as direct spinoffs.
Ron Howard left after season seven while Fonzie carried the later years through the shark-jump episode that named the trope. No revival has been ordered beyond reunion specials, leaving the finale's double wedding as the planned close.
