About Irreverent
Peacock aired Irreverent in 2022 with Paddy Macrae creating, following Chicago criminal Mackenzie who flees a failed heist into an Australian reef town posing as its new reverend. Early episodes cover the beach landing, the sermon fakes and the crime debt trailing him north. The middle stretch deepens the parish cover as romances, church funds and local rivals test how long the lie can float.
The finale forces the choice between flight and the flock he never meant to love, ending after 10 episodes. Colin Donnell leads beside P.J. Byrne and Kylie Bracknell. Watch episodes 1 through 10 in release order, since the heist past and parish bonds braid straight into the final call.
Good to know
Watch all 10 episodes in release order, since the heist past and parish bonds braid straight into the final call. The cover plot needs each sermon fake fresh before the finale choice lands. No second season connects to the run, making the single season fully closed. Track Mackenzie, the cop and the parish crew closely because their trust shapes the end.
