About Jam and Jerusalem
Jam and Jerusalem, billed as Clatterford in America, follows Sal Vine's Women's Guild in Devon. Series 1 ran 6 episodes from November 2006 on BBC One. Series 2 ran 6 in 2008 with the Tash wedding build. Series 3 ran 6 in 2009 closing the guild and surgery arcs with later Christmas sketches as extras.
Jennifer Saunders created and stars with Dawn French as Rosie. No fourth series was made. The 18 episodes form one village run with a firm end. Each series layers fetes, funerals and rivalries rather than resetting.
Good to know
Broadcast order keeps guild feuds and Tash's arc straight. Series 2 assumes the Series 1 friendships, Series 3 pays off the surgery thread. The Christmas sketches work as extras after Series 3. The American Clatterford title refers to the same show, so do not hunt a separate version. With 2009 closing the guild, this is finished.
