About Krypton

Krypton follows Seg-El, Superman grandfather, on Kandor 200 years before the planet dies. Season 1 ran 10 episodes from March to May 2018 and season 2 ran 10 from June to August 2019 on Syfy, with Brainiac, Zod and Doomsday arcs across Kandor and the Phantom Zone.

Syfy cancelled it in August 2019 after shopping with no pickup, and the planned Lobo spinoff died with it. The finale The Alpha and the Omega ends open. This show sits outside Smallville, Arrowverse and films. Watch season 1 then season 2 straight.

Good to know

There is no separate chronological order. Both seasons follow Seg in order, so release order is story order. The time travel with Adam Strange stays inside the seasons rather than splitting them. No revival has been announced as of September 2026, so the 2019 finale is the endpoint despite the cliffhanger.
