Matilda De Angelis stars as Lidia Poet in 1880s Turin, fighting to practice law while solving murders the police dismiss. Created by Guido Iuculano and Davide Orsini, the series mixes courtroom procedure with period detail and pressure from her brother Enrico, who later joins parliament.
Netflix released season 1 in February 2023, season 2 in October 2024 and the six episode third and final season in April 2026. The seasons form one continuous arc about Lidia's right to practice, so watch in release order. All eighteen episodes stream on Netflix worldwide.
Good to know
Release order matches story order, so no chronological reshuffle is needed. The show moves forward season to season with no prequel detours. One caveat: some listings date season 3 by its April 15, 2026 Netflix premiere, and early reports called renewal uncertain before Netflix confirmed it as the final season. Watch all six episodes per season in numbered order.
