About Lisey's Story
Lisey's Story follows Lisey Landon, played by Julianne Moore, two years after the death of her novelist husband Scott, played by Clive Owen. Episodes 1 and 2 premiered June 4, 2021, then one arrived weekly on Fridays through July 16, 2021. All eight scripts were written by Stephen King from his 2006 novel.
The plot mixes present grief with trips to Booya Moon and past marriage scenes. Dane DeHaan plays the stalker Jim Dooley. Apple billed the run as a limited series with no second season planned, so episode 8 closes the story.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 8 as released. The jumps to the past and to Booya Moon are part of the design, not a separate timeline to sort out. Episode 3 explains the yum yum tree, episode 5 covers the brother, episode 7 turns to the final pool scene. The finale named Liseys Story aired July 16, 2021 and ends the adaptation.
