About Lucifer
Lucifer follows the Devil running a Los Angeles club and consulting for detective Chloe Decker while his family pulls him back toward Hell. The Fox years cover seasons 1 to 3 from 2016 to 2018 with case of the week plots plus celestial fallout. Netflix took over for season 4 in 2019, the split season 5 in 2020 and 2021, and the final season 6 in 2021.
Watch in broadcast order across all six seasons. The move from Fox to Netflix shortens seasons but keeps continuity tight, with Chloe, Maze, Amenadiel and Linda arcs paying off only in sequence. The finale was planned as an ending.
Good to know
Season 3 is the long one at 26 episodes including two bonus stories that slot inside the run. Season 5 was split into two 8 episode drops, so treat it as one continuous season. There are no films to place, and the comic source is only loose inspiration, so the TV order alone covers the full story here.
