About Maude
Maude spins Edith cousin Maude Findlay in Tuckahoe with Walter. Seasons 1 to 2 run from 1972 with Florida Evans quitting into her own show. Seasons 3 to 4 cover the middle years through 1976 with abortion two parter talk.
Seasons 5 to 6 close through 1978 with final campaigns and farewells. The All in the Family branch sits before as roots apart. The episodes never need strict links, so release order strides from kitchen to congress. The abortion two parter and election arcs open every season with bite.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 through 6 in air order since the house builds that way. Walter stays through the run proper as the foil. Florida leaves early and Vivian carries late years well. The run is closed after 1978 with no further order needed at all today. The Emmy shelf confirms the voice, so start at season one again.
