About My Family
My Family follows dentist Ben Harper and Susan with Nick, Janey and Michael. Series 1 started September 19, 2000 on BBC One. The show ran 11 series to September 2, 2011 with 120 episodes plus Christmas specials from 2002 onward. Nick exits after Series 3, Abi arrives Series 3, Roger joins later, Kenzo arrives late.
Fred Barron created it, and the BBC axed it March 2011 after falling ratings. All 11 runs returned to iPlayer in 2020. No revival has been ordered. The 2002 to 2009 Christmas specials punctuate the middle years.
