About My Lady Jane
My Lady Jane retells Lady Jane Grey as a Tudor fantasy where some people shift into animals called Ethians. Jane weds Guildford, who turns horse by day, while Queen Mary hunts shape folk across England. Early parts cover the arranged wedding, the first horse reveal and the rules for hiding Ethian kin.
Later parts follow the court escape, the pack alliance and the push to save Jane from the block end. Prime Video released eight parts in June 2024 with Emily Bader and Edward Bluemel. Watch parts 1 through 8 in release order, since each Ethian reveal changes who Jane trusts and why Guildford stays horse bound.
Good to know
Watch parts 1 through 8 in release order. The Ethian lore only makes sense in sequence because each shift adds a pack ally and a reason Mary hunts harder. The finale assumes the wedding alliance and crown trap setup. No second season was ordered, so eight parts form the full screen story with novels behind. Track Jane and Guildford closely since ties shift fast.
