About Outnumbered
Outnumbered follows Pete and Sue Brockman with Jake, Ben and Karen in London, using part improvisation with the kids. Series 1 ran 6 episodes from August 28, 2007. Series 2 ran 7 episodes from November 15, 2008. Series 3 ran 6 episodes from April 8, 2010. Series 4 ran 6 episodes from September 2, 2011.
Series 5 ran 6 episodes from January 29 to March 5, 2014. Specials punctuate the run, including 2009, 2011, 2012, the 2016 Boxing Day special and the 45 minute Christmas special December 26, 2024. The show was declared ended after that reunion, with no new series ordered.
Good to know
Release order keeps the kids ages straight, which matters because Ben at 7 and Ben at 13 are different comic engines. Fold each Christmas special in after its nearest series, with the 2024 special last. Comic and Sport Relief sketches from 2009 to 2012 are fun extras but not required. The 2024 reunion assumes you know the family, so newcomers should not start there.
