About Peep Show
Peep Show (2003 to 2015) runs nine series inside the heads of Mark and Jeremy, filmed in first person with their thoughts narrating every bad decision. The flat-share setup never changes; the two men just age into worse versions of themselves across jobs, weddings and divorces.
Broadcast order is the only order: the show compounds embarrassment season by season, and late-series payoffs assume a decade of context. Early series lean on the POV gimmick, later ones on character rot. The 2015 finale closes the story deliberately, which is rare for a sitcom this long-lived.
Good to know
The POV filming is disorienting for exactly one episode, then becomes invisible: push through. Super Hans steals every late series and got his own deserved mythology. The show's politics and office culture date it to the 2000s in places, but the core dynamic does not. The writers reunited the cast for anniversary specials rather than new episodes, so series 9 is the end.
