About People Just Do Nothing
People Just Do Nothing follows West London pirate station Kurupt FM with Grindah, Beats, Steves, Decoy and Chabuddy G. It began as 2012 YouTube shorts, then Series 1 ran 4 episodes from July 20, 2014 on BBC Three. Series 2 ran 2015, Series 3 ran 2016, Series 4 ran 2017, Series 5 ran 6 episodes from November 12 to December 17, 2018.
People Just Do Nothing: Big in Japan arrived in 2021 with the crew touring Japan. No sixth series was ordered. The mockumentary style means small callbacks compound, which rewards straight viewing.
Good to know
Broadcast order keeps the station's rise and fall clear. Series 1 to 3 build Kurupt FM, Series 4 to 5 break it toward the Outro. The Comic Relief shorts from the run are extras, not required. Watch Big in Japan last, since it spoils who stays together. With 27 episodes plus film, this is a tight mockumentary run.
