About Carry On
Producer Peter Rogers and director Gerald Thomas made 31 Carry On comedies between 1958 and 1992 with a regular ensemble led by Sid James, Kenneth Williams and Barbara Windsor.
The films share no continuity, so release order simply tracks how the series grew from gentle institution spoofs into bawdy historical parodies.
Good to know
That's Carry On! (1977) is a clip compilation, included for completeness but safe to skip. New films announced in 2019 for a 2020 shoot stalled, and the rights holder's company was later dissolved, so nothing is currently dated.
