About Pose
Pose follows Blanca taking in Damon and Angel for balls against Elektra. Season 1 (2018) runs 8 episodes from June 3, 2018 on the house founding. Season 2 (2019) runs 10 from June 11, 2019 on the 1990 AIDS fight. Season 3 (2021) runs 8 from May 2 to June 6, 2021 as the final run with the Blanca legacy close.
Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Steven Canals created the FX show with the largest trans cast on TV. The ball categories and the Pray Tell emcee arc build straight across the three years. Watch in broadcast order, since the Elektra defection and the Angel modeling payoff only land in sequence.
Good to know
Broadcast order is story order, with the 1987 to 1994 jump carrying straight over. Season 1 sets the house rules and the Blanca HIV reveal that seasons 2 and 3 deepen. Season 3 plays as farewell across 8 episodes, ending with the ballroom torch pass. Treat the 26 episodes as complete, with no film or revival dated.
