About Power
Power starts with James Ghost St. Patrick running a New York club while dealing drugs, across six seasons from 2014 to 2020. Power Book II: Ghost continues with his son Tariq from 2020 to 2024. Power Book III: Raising Kanan rewinds to 1991 Queens to show Kanan Stark at fifteen, running five seasons to 2026. Power Book IV: Force sends Tommy Egan to Chicago from 2022 across three seasons.
Release order follows Ghost, then Tariq, then the two parallel spinoffs, which is how Starz reveals who lives and why it matters. Chronological order starts with Raising Kanan in 1991, then the original Power, then Ghost and Force together after Ghost's death. A prequel called Power: Origins is announced but undated.
Good to know
Watch in release order first. Raising Kanan spoils Kanan's fate in the original Power if you start there, and Ghost assumes you watched Ghost die in the Power finale. Force and Ghost overlap in time but were written to be watched in air order. Power: Origins has no date yet, so it stays out of the list until Starz sets one. All four shows sit on Starz and Hulu with Starz add-on.
