About QI
QI is a BBC panel quiz where points reward interesting answers over correct ones. Stephen Fry hosted series A to M from 2003 to 2016, with Alan Davies ever present. Sandi Toksvig hosts from series N onward with rotating guests and the same letter theme per series.
Each series uses one alphabet letter, from A in 2003 toward W in recent years. Watch in letter order because running jokes about forfeits, the elves and scores build up. Specials and charity edits sit outside the letter run and can be saved for later.
Good to know
Release order matches letter order, which is the intended path. Early series run 12 episodes, later series run 16 with an XL cut. The Fry to Toksvig handover happens between series M and N with no story break. New viewers can sample any letter, but starters should begin with A to learn the scoring and klaxon rules before jumping around.
