About Roseanne
Roseanne aired on ABC from October 1988 to May 1997 for nine seasons around the working-class Conner family. The 2018 revival ran one season before ABC fired Roseanne Barr and retooled the show as The Conners, killing Roseanne off and running seven seasons through April 2025 with the remaining family.
The ninth season's lottery win plays as Roseanne's fictional rewrite, which the revival acknowledges before moving on. The Conners closed in 2025 with the house settled and no further spinoff announced, though the cast has said the door stays open.
Good to know
Watch seasons one through nine in order, treating the lottery season as the show's own what-if rather than a mistake. Then watch the 2018 revival season and The Conners one through seven, since Dan's grief and the house plot assume the revival reset. Skipping the dream season breaks nothing later, but the revival references it directly.
