About Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara follows Capwell and Lockridge families in the coastal town with Eden, Cruz and Kelly. The show ran from 1984 to 1993 with 2137 episodes on NBC, built on romances plus murders and returns.
Later years add deaths and reveals that assume the early feud bonds. There is no reboot or film. Watch years in order from 1984 to 1993, since every wedding, death and return assumes the prior year. Feuds stand alone per year, but wedding and return beats grow with each year across the coast. Murders stand alone per year, but Eden Cruz bonds grow with each year to the close.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order, since the coast runs straight with no flashback seasons. Do not skip years, because Eden Cruz only lands after feud buildup. The finale closes each family and town, so the last year needs the Capwell setup first. Start at 1984 for the full coast arc. Do not skip years, because feuds only land after buildup and coast years to the finale.
