About Signal
Signal is tvN's 2016 time slip crime drama about a cold case profiler reaching a 1980s detective through a haunted walkie. Sixteen episodes aired January 22 to March 12, 2016 on Friday Saturday nights. The Kim Bum-joo and Yeongdeok cases interleave past and present procedure.
The first season closed its loop with the walkie going quiet. A second season was confirmed in March 2024 as a tvN anniversary project for 2026, though a reported November 2026 window drew a nothing finalized response. Watch season 1 first since the detective fates carry into whatever follows.
Good to know
Watch season 1 episodes 1 through 16 in order. The walkie rules and the past case interference stack across the run, so the finale only lands whole. The Second Signal is confirmed in production with no locked premiere, so it sits last with a null year. Reported November 2026 dates were denied by tvN. The cases reset weekly but the detective fates never do.
