About Surface
Surface follows Sophie Ellis jumping off a San Francisco ferry with no memory. Season 1 (2022) runs 8 episodes from July 29, 2022 on the Tess versus Sophie question. Season 2 (2025) runs 8 episodes from February 21 to April 11, 2025 moving the con to London with new marks.
Veronica West created the Apple TV show with Gugu Mbatha-Raw leading. No third season has been announced. Watch in broadcast order, since the Baden marriage, the Quinn Tess reveal and the Huntley house only make sense in sequence.
Good to know
Broadcast order is story order, with the memory gap only landing if you know the ferry setup. Season 1 sets the Sophie Tess split that season 2 reopens in London. Season 2 plays as ending with the charity gala con. Treat the 16 episodes as complete for now, with no S3 dated. The London con reuses the ferry lies well.
