Sweet Tooth follows Gus, a deer hybrid boy, and his protector Tommy Jepperd after a virus kills most humans. Season 1 (2021) runs 8 episodes from June 4, 2021, with the Preserve and the Last Men. Season 2 (2023) runs 8 episodes from April 27, 2023 in the zoo prison. Season 3 (2024) runs 8 episodes from June 6, 2024 on the Alaska trip that ends the story.
Jim Mickle developed the Netflix show from Jeff Lemire comics with Team Downey. Netflix renewed it for season 3 as the final season in May 2023. Watch in broadcast order, since the Sick, the hybrids and Birdie's tapes build straight across the three years.
Good to know
There is no second timeline to untangle, as the show tells one trip in order. Do not skip season 2, since the capture explains why Gus trusts the herd in season 3. The finale jumps to old Gus telling the tale to grandkids, which only lands if you saw the start. The comics differ in places, so stick to the show order first.
