About Ted Lasso
Ted Lasso ran three seasons on Apple TV Plus from 2020 to 2023 as an American coach rebuilds AFC Richmond, ending with Ted flying home to Kansas. The first season earns promotion, the second confronts the panic arc, and the third closes the Richmond story as written.
Season 4 premiered August 5, 2026 with Ted coaching a second-division women's team, releasing weekly through October 7. The revival reunites Sudeikis, Waddingham, Temple and Goldstein's crew, which makes the once-planned ending a midpoint rather than a finale.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 through 3 in order, since the locker-room arcs compound every year, then start season 4 which is still airing through early October. Story order matches release order exactly, so one list covers it. The women's-team turn reframes the show rather than repeating it, so expect a new squad around the familiar staff.
