About The Bear
The Bear follows Carmy Berzatto returning to Chicago to run his late brother sandwich shop and turn it into a fine dining spot. Season 1 stays close to the kitchen grind, season 2 splits into renovation and staging trips, and seasons 3 and 4 slow down to deal with reviews, money and family fallout.
Five seasons aired on FX on Hulu from 2022 through 2026, with the fifth billed as the final season premiering June 25, 2026. Watch in release order since debts, partnerships and the restaurant name change carry straight through. Each season runs eight to ten episodes and ends on a decision about whether the place stays open.
Good to know
Release order matches story order with no prequels or jumps to work around. Season 1 plays fastest and most anxious, so give it three episodes before judging the pace. The Christmas episode Fishes in season 2 flashes back one year but was built to air there, not first. Treat season 5 as the planned end, since FX billed the June 2026 run as the final season.
