About The Bridge
The Bridge (2011 to 2018) opens with a body on the Oresund Bridge and follows Saga Norén and Martin Rohde across four seasons of cross-border cases. Each season is a self-contained investigation while Saga's personal story compounds: her growth across the run is the show's quiet triumph.
Broadcast order throughout; later seasons assume Saga but reset the crimes. Season 1 is the essential bridge-body case, later runs vary in reputation with season 3 the fan favorite. The American and Anglo-French remakes (The Tunnel) are separate adaptations, not continuations, and need no viewing.

Martin's exit after season 2 changes the show's chemistry permanently: Henrik takes the partner role from season 3 onward.
