About The Neighborhood
The Neighborhood stars Cedric the Entertainer as Calvin Butler and Max Greenfield as Dave Johnson, neighbors on opposite sides of a Pasadena street, with Tichina Arnold and Beth Behrs as Tina and Gemma. Creator Jim Reynolds built it as a multi camera CBS comedy about a white Midwestern family adjusting to a Black neighborhood.
CBS aired it from October 2018 to May 2026 for 155 episodes across eight seasons, ending with season 8 as the announced final run. Paramount Plus picked up Crutch with Tracy Morgan as Calvin's cousin for eight episodes in November 2025, then canceled it in July 2026 after one season.

Watch seasons 1 through 8 in air order, then Crutch. The spinoff assumes you know Calvin and the family setup, and its eight episodes slot after the main finale. Calvin and Tina also cross into a 2022 Bob Hearts Abishola episode, but that is a one off gag rather than required viewing for either show.
