About The Studio
The Studio (2025) is Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's Hollywood satire: Rogen plays Matt Remick, the newly installed head of the fictional Continental Studios, flanked by Catherine O'Hara, Kathryn Hahn and Ike Barinholtz. Each of the ten first-season episodes follows one production disaster, from casting fights to awards campaigns.
Season 1 ran March to May 2025 on Apple TV+ and was renewed for season 2 that May, before the finale even aired. The show is episodic by design, so any episode works alone, but the Kool-Aid tentpole saga threads the season. Celebrity cameos play fictionalized versions of real people, which is half the joke if you follow industry news.
