About The Third Day
Summer premiered September 14, 2020 with Munden father search and Tate family, Autumn played October 3, 2020 as twelve hour live tide event with Florence, and Winter closed October 19, 2020 with Lowthorpe mother return. Dennis Kelly and Felix Barrett built with Punchdrunk theatre and live tides.
The run totals six episodes plus special. HBO bills it limited with no season 2. Watch Summer, then Autumn, then Winter in broadcast order, since the causeway tides through crate births build the island close.
Good to know
Release order is story order across island rites with causeway tides. Summer sets the Osea rules that Autumn tests live and Winter flips with mother and daughter searches. The live special sits middle as aired with tide timing and songs for Esus. Treat October 2020 as finished with no follow up planned.
