About Travelers
Travelers sends operatives' consciousness back into present-day hosts to prevent a ruined future, led by Eric McCormack's Grant MacLaren. Created by Brad Wright, the first season ran 12 episodes from October 2016 on Showcase, co-produced with Netflix.
The second season ran 12 episodes in 2017, and Netflix took over fully for the ten-episode third season in 2018, designed as the end. The mission mythology and the team's personal lives compound across all 34 episodes, so watch the three seasons in order. The finale was built to close the story if no renewal came, and none did.
Good to know
Air order is story order. The Director's plans, the Faction rebellion and each traveler's double life all chain directly, and season three's ending only works with the full run behind it. The show is fully complete at 34 episodes with a real finale, which makes it one of the safer cancelled-too-soon commitments. Start with season one's pilot, which sets every rule.
