About Warrior Nun
Warrior Nun follows Ava Silva, brought back to life by a halo and drafted into the Order of the Cruciform Sword. Season one from July 2020 runs ten episodes as Ava learns halo powers while hunted by Arq Tech. Season two from November 2022 runs eight episodes with the war against Adriel going public.
Netflix cancelled the show in December 2022 after two seasons. Creator Simon Barry later announced fan funded films to continue the plot, with no release date set by September 2026. Watch season one then season two for the complete filmed story so far.
Good to know
Watch in release order since Ava's control of the halo grows episode to episode. Season two assumes you remember Mary, Lilith and the S1 church vault fight. The comic Warrior Nun Areala by Ben Dunn inspired the premise but shares almost no plot, so it is optional background only. Treat S2 episode eight as a pause, not a finale, until the announced films actually appear.
