About 2.43 Seiin
2.43 Seiin follows Kimichika Haijima, a Tokyo setter returning to Fukui after a falling out, who reunites with childhood friend Yuni Kuroba to lift weak Seiin High. David Production aired twelve episodes in 2021.
Early episodes establish the 2.43 meter net height title and the broken toss timing. Middle chapters add the Oda and Aoki rival schools and the training-camp loss. Later episodes stage the prefectural final that decides the club's survival. The tosses and spikes improve visibly, so skipping ahead hides how the pair relearns calls.
Good to know
Watch episodes one through twelve in order. The team only improves through lost sets, with each player's block timing revealed in turn. There is no sequel, since the story closes at prefecturals. New viewers can sample matches, yet the final set lands better after seeing every practice rift and reunion.
