About 91 Days
91 Days follows Angelo Lagusa, who reenters the Prohibition town of Lawless as Avilio Bruno to avenge his murdered family. He earns a place beside Nero Vanetti and climbs inside the Vanetti outfit while quietly pitting the Vanetti, Orco and Galassia families against each other. Early episodes cover his return, Corteo's bootleg still, the first favour kills and the price of staying close to Nero.
The middle stretch follows Fango's split from Orco, the war for the Lawless liquor trade and Corteo's breaking point. The closing run ends on the coastal hideout choice between Angelo and Nero, with the OVA short set years later. Studio Shuka aired twelve episodes in summer 2016 directed by Hiro Kaburagi, with the thirteenth OVA in 2017. Watch TV episodes 1 through 12, then the OVA.
Good to know
Watch TV episodes 1 through 12 in broadcast order, then the OVA Day 13. The revenge plan only makes sense in sequence because each murder changes who trusts Avilio and why Nero protects him. The OVA is a short epilogue set years later and assumes the TV ending. No sequel or remake has aired, so the twelve plus one form the complete story. Track Corteo, Fango and Barbero closely since their loyalties shift fast.
