About Bartender
Bartender adapts Araki Joh manga about Ryu Sasakura, the genius bartender of hidden Eden Hall who serves the exact cocktail each troubled guest needs. The 2006 series ran 11 episodes on TV Tokyo for the 200th cocktail anniversary, using Eden Hall patrons to teach real drink recipes.
Liber rebooted it in April 2024 as Bartender Glass of God with 12 episodes, keeping Eden Hall and Ryu but recasting the hotel frame around the Glass of God search. The reboot is a fresh start, not a sequel, so either version stands alone.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing. The 2006 series and the 2024 Glass of God each present Eden Hall from the start with no shared timeline, so release order and story order are the same list. Start with 2006 for the original tone or 2024 for modern animation, the choice changes flavor rather than plot.
