About Basilisk
Basilisk adapts the rivalry of the Kouga and Iga ninja clans, ordered by the shogunate to each name ten champions for a fight to the death. The 2005 Gonzo series covers the original blood feud, and the 2018 Seven Arcs sequel follows the next generation ten years later.

Release order and story order match, so there is no reason to shuffle the two series. Watch the 2005 run first since the sequel assumes you know how the first feud ended.
