About Beelzebub
Beelzebub follows delinquent Tatsumi Oga forced to raise Baby Beel, the demon king son, while fighting rival schools. A 30 minute pilot screened at the Jump Super Anime Tour in October 2010 and came on DVD that December.
The TV series ran 60 episodes from January 2011 to March 2012 on Pierrot Plus, adapting the early manga with filler to close. DVD only mini specials like Beel-bo Keiji add short gags. The manga ended in 2014 with no sequel anime announced, so the TV run is the complete adaptation and ends on original material.
Good to know
There is no chronological order for Beelzebub. The pilot retells the same meeting as episode 1 with small changes, so watch it first or skip it with no loss. The TV series runs straight through school battles in order. The DVD minis sit outside canon, so treat them as extras after episode 60. They add gags only.
