About Beyblade
Beyblade resets its heroes with each toy generation. The original trilogy from 2001 to 2003 follows Tyson and Kai, the Metal Saga from 2009 to 2012 follows Gingka, Shogun Steel jumps years ahead, and Burst from 2016 to 2023 follows Valt and later Aiger through six connected seasons. X from 2023 starts fresh with Xtreme Dash battles.
Each era stands alone with no story order across generations. Watch one era straight through rather than mixing. New viewers often start with Burst or X for modern pacing, while the original keeps early 2000s tournament charm. The manga and toys run ahead of anime in each era.
Good to know
Release order groups best by era since seasons inside an era connect and eras do not. Watch the original three as one block, Metal four as one block, and Burst six as one long run before X. Cross era cameos are nods rather than plot, so skipping an era loses little. Treat X as the current line with new episodes still arriving, which keeps the franchise open.
