About Bofuri
Bofuri follows Maple raising defense to the max with Sally in VRMMO NewWorld Online. Season 1 has 12 episodes directed by Shin Oonuma with Mirai Minato. Season 2 has 12 episodes after a delay from 2022 to 2023, with episodes 7 and 11 to 12 shifted to March and April 2023 for quality.
No third season has been announced as of 2026. Wikipedia closes the run at January 2020 to April 2023 across 24 episodes. The web novel ended February 2025 with light novels at 19 volumes, so material exists but no greenlight. Both seasons stream with the same guild core.
Good to know
Watch season 1, then season 2. Season 2 adds later event tiers that assume season 1 skills and guild setup. There are no films or OVAs to place between the 24 episodes. Release order and story order are the same game progression, so keep 1 to 2. Start with the 2020 defense build, finish with the 2023 events.
