About Carole and Tuesday

Carole and Tuesday ran 24 episodes from April to October 2019 at Bones, directed by Shinichiro Watanabe with music by Yoko Kanno. Refugee Carole and runaway Tuesday meet on Mars and enter the music contest circuit with street gigs.

Part 1 covers episodes 1 to 12 through the early contest rounds and label pressure building. Part 2 covers episodes 13 to 24 through the finals and industry fallout to the close. Netflix carried it worldwide in two drops, August and December 2019. No sequel has been announced.

Good to know

Watch Part 1, then Part 2 without a long gap between halves. The contest bracket and song releases assume the duo formation behind them from early episodes. The show works as one 24 episode run split for broadcast, not two seasons with a gap, so avoid breaks. The finale closes the contest with no hook left open.
