About Girls Band Cry
Girls Band Cry follows high school dropout Nina Iseri as she moves to Tokyo and forms Togenashi Togeari with guitarist Momoka plus Subaru, Tomo and Rupa. The 13 episode TV run from April 2024 covers the band build from street shows to first stages.
Two compilation films retell that run, with Seishun Kyosokyoku opening October 2025 and Naa Mirai following November 2025. A brand new theatrical movie has been announced with no date. Watch the TV series first, then the compilations only if you want a recap, with the new film slotting last once dated.
Good to know
Release order works because the two 2025 films compile the TV story rather than continuing it. The TV 13 episodes carry every character turn for Nina and Momoka, while the films compress the same arc for theaters. The announced new movie is the first true continuation. Watch TV first, treat the compilations as optional, and add the new film last when dated.
