About Clevatess
Clevatess adapts Yuji Iwahara's manga about a demon king and a broken hero harapan. Lay-duce animated season 1 across 12 episodes from July 2 to September 17, 2025. Season 2 titled The King of Magical Beasts and the Legend of the False Hero ran 13 episodes from July 8 to September 30, 2026.
Both seasons stream on Crunchyroll with dubs following. No third season was announced after the September 2026 finale. Watch season 1 first for the summoning pact, then season 2 for the false hero fallout. The story assumes you know the beast hierarchy from season 1.
Good to know
Release order equals story order, so watch season 1 then season 2. Season 1 is 12 episodes confirmed. Season 2 is 13 episodes confirmed ending September 30, 2026. Do not skip to season 2, since the hero lie from season 1 drives the second run. If a third season is announced, it would slot after season 2 episode 13.
