About Cyberpunk Edgerunners
Edgerunners premiered September 13, 2022 on Netflix as ten episodes from Studio Trigger in the Cyberpunk 2077 world. David Martinez joins Maine's crew after Arasaka academy and runs with Lucy through Night City chrome jobs. The run ends closed with My Moon My Man.
Edgerunners Madness manga started December 2024 as a prequel in print. Edgerunners 2 follows October 20, 2026 as ten new episodes with a new cast under Kai Ikarashi and Bartosz Sztybor. Watch the 2022 ten first, since the 2026 run reuses Night City rules without continuing David's crew.
Good to know
Release order is story order across two standalone runs. Season 1 runs ten parts of about 25 minutes and ends shut, so no episode shuffling helps. Edgerunners 2 is a new story in the same city rather than a direct pickup. The manga prequel is print only and stays out of the watch list until adapted.
