About Eyeshield 21
Eyeshield 21 follows Sena Kobayakawa hiding as Eyeshield while running for Deimon with Hiruma and Kurita. Early episodes build Ojo and Seibu rivals, middle arcs run the Kanto tournament with Shinryuji and Ojo rematches, and the final stretch covers the Christmas Bowl against Teikoku Alexanders.
The anime runs 145 episodes on TV Tokyo with two original video extras. Watch in broadcast order since plays, injuries and Hiruma threats stack week to week. The manga by Inagaki and Murata ends past the anime bowl with a world youth coda, so readers can continue after episode 145.
Good to know
Broadcast order is story order with no films to place. Season splits never reset the bracket, so skipping breaks the tournament logic. New viewers should give the early goofy pace ten episodes before the Kanto games lock in. Treat episode 145 as the anime close with the manga world arc as optional extra, since no sequel anime has been dated.
