About High School DxD
High School DxD follows Issei reincarnated as Rias' devil servant through rating games. Four seasons ran from 2012 to 2018: DxD, New, BorN and Hero, which reboots the third volume's story faithfully.
Release order is story order. The novels continue past Hero with no fifth season announced.
Good to know
BorN invents an anime-original ending that Hero overrides. The jump needs no fix-up viewing.
