About Hungry Heart: Wild Striker
Hungry Heart Wild Striker follows Kyosuke Kano playing out from under his pro brother's shadow. Fifty-two episodes aired September 11, 2002 to September 10, 2003 from Nippon Animation, running from street trials through Jyoyo High to the national push. The orange shoes and the brother engine carry the run.
The run is a single continuous year with no sequel. Its earnest sportsmanship rewards the long haul. Watch the ranges below in order since the trials and the tournament ladder stack across the 52.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 52 in order. The street trials and the Jyoyo ladder stack across the year, so the national push only lands with the full run behind it. No sequel or film is announced. The Takahashi manga sits behind the anime as background for readers after the screen run. The orange shoes motif runs through all 52 as the show's heartbeat.
